The Cri-du-chat syndrome is a gene disorder where the 5th chromosome is missing a piece.
Common Names
Common names for this Syndrome are as follow: Cat cry syndrome, Chromosome 5p- Syndrome, 5p Deletion Syndrome, monosomy 5p, 5p- Syndrome, Chromosome 5p deletion syndrome, 5p minus syndrome, cat's cry syndrome,  and the Le Jeune's syndrome.

For The Cri-du-chat syndrome there are many symptoms to list. Some symptoms are Respitory problems, language delay, self-biting, wide-set eyes, Slightly short hand bones, creases in the palm, round face, cat-like cry, lower IQ, and more. Judging from these symptoms the human will look like a hybrid of a cat and human. Anyone born with this syndrome will have a difficult live in stuggling. Although this syndrome is rare so there's nothing to worry about. This syndrome is also inheritable if it runs through the family.

Sadly for this mutation there is no known cure...but the metal retardation should be consulted.
